Sunnington Senior Care Floor Plans

The floor plan is a residential design, small in scale and organized into four self-contained “houses” connected to the indoor courtyard. Each “house” contains 8 rooms with it’s own dining room, kitchen area and living room. Every detail was designed with the memory-impaired person in mind from the soft colored walls and stylish furnishings to the beauty shop and activity center.  This plan provides a relaxed, homelike atmosphere.

The community offers four floor plans designed with comfort, convenience and safety in mind. The rooms feature a specially designed bathroom, a pocket style door for more openness and safety plus a large walk-in shower with a heat light for warmth. A personal emergency response system is available in each bathroom and living area for resident assistance response 24-hours a day.  Retaining the dignity of each resident is a top priority. Therefore, each floor plan offers a large “locked” closet and a small “unlocked” closet.  The locked closet holds all the resident’s clothing and the unlocked closet holds the clothing the resident will need for the next day. This design helps to eliminate another common tendency of the memory-impaired, which is to wear layers.
